The hydration piece was the thing that stuck most with me from your Food and Fitness challenge... and really made me understand the value of incremental changes. I always take a pint of water to bed but rarely drink more than a few sips; now when I bring my glass down in the morning, instead of pouring it away I make sure I drink the whole thing before I have my morning cup of tea, and that's 16oz nailed before I've even started the day! Having a gateway bottle has helped too - mine's a S'well with a big enough neck to put ice and lemon in.
